It happened in the 9200 block of Potranco Road. Firefighters cut the doors and roof off one vehicle to free the four people inside.

A three-vehicle collision on the far West Side sent a girl to the hospital in critical condition Sunday night.A Mazda was heading east on Potranco when it changed lanes suddenly in front of a Jeep and braked suddenly, police said. The jeep was also changing lanes and struck the back of the Mazda. The Jeep was subsequently struck by a third vehicle.

Firefighters had to cut the doors and roof from one vehicle to free four people inside. A girl was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
