UPDATE: Video obtained by NBC10 shows the vehicle in a drive-by shooting that injured a 12-year-old girl outside of a Philly grocery store. The girl is in stable condition:
The girl was walking out of a grocery store on the 4600 block of Hurley Street when a gunman inside a passing vehicle fired at a group of people in front of the business. The girl, who police say was an innocent bystander, was shot at least once in the stomach.
A 12-year-old girl is in stable condition after she was shot in the stomach while walking out of a Philadelphia grocery store. Police say the shooting was a drive-by and the girl was an innocent bystander. NBC10's Aaron Baskerville has the details."We have this young kid who should be at home studying, reading books, instead sitting in a hospital worrying about her health," Philadelphia Police Captain John Walker said.
