DADEVILLE, Alabama — A 12-year-old girl who had been tied to a bed for nearly a week escaped by chewing through her restraints, then was rescued when she was found walking alone along a road, reports say.
The investigation into her kidnapping has resulted in the arrest of a suspect, Jose Paulino Pascual-Reyes, 37, and the discovery of two decomposing bodies in the suspect’s home,. Pascual-Reyes is being held in jail on multiple charges, including three counts of murder, as he awaits his first appearance in court.
The girl was found walking along a road by a motorist in Tallapoosa County at about 8:30 a.m., al.com reports. The suspect reportedly used alcohol to keep her in a drugged state,
