The Giants are going to keep Saquon Barkley, Matt Breida, and fifth-round rookie Eric Gray, who figures to return punts and kickoffs. Brightwell — a sixth-round draft pick in 2021 — was the Giants’ kickoff returner last year. But between the arrival of Gray, Jashaun Corbin playing well in training camp , and Brightwell dealing with a knee injury lately, it appears Brightwell is on his way to being cut.
