Giant Eagle has changed its bag policy, saying it will no longer charge customers for paper bags at its Cuyahoga County stores while offering incentives for use of recycled bags.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Giant Eagle and Market District locations will no longer charge for paper bags in Cuyahoga County while the grocery-store company also is launching incentives for customers to use recycled bags.
Through Sunday, Dec. 31, customers who shop with reusable bags and scan their advantage card will receive two perks per transaction. Customers must be enrolled in either myPerks or fuelperks+ loyalty program.
