The convicted sex trafficker, who was sentenced to 20 years behind bars last June, insisted the photo of the Duke of York is 'fake'
has repeated her claims that the well-known photo showing the Duke of York next to Virginia Giuffre is fake, in an interview to be aired on Jeremy Kyle’s TalkTV show.
The former British socialite and convicted sex trafficker, who was sentenced to 20 years behind bars last June, has previously cast doubt on the authenticity of the photo showing Prince Andrew with his arm around Jeffrey Epstein trafficking victim Ms Giuffre said to be taken inside her Mayfair home. Speaking from prison in the US, in an interview which is set to air on Monday, Maxwell said she is “sure” the picture is not real: “It’s a fake. I don’t believe it’s real for a second, in fact I’m sure it’s not.”
She said: “Well, there’s never been an original and further there’s no photograph, and I’ve only ever seen a photocopy of it.”Ms Giuffre sued him for allegedly sexually assaulting her when she was 17, after she was trafficked by, the former partner of Maxwell. Prince Andrew, who strongly denies the claims, went on to settle the civil sexual assault case in a deal reported to be worth millions.
