The New York Republican's comments came after Beijing reacted with fury when Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen met Speaker McCarthy, and other members ofMcCarthy commented:"The members here today make clear: We take our support for the people of Taiwan seriously and are determined to speak with one voice."
