Fans of Bury-born Gemma will know that she tragically lost her father, David, when she was just 17 years old
Gemma Atkinson appeared to leave Gorka Marquez emotional as she reshared a moment between her and their daughter in response to loss. .
But tragically, as the family prepared for him to return home, the hospital called and said David had a massive heart attack in his sleep and passed away. It is then that she spoke about how her four-year-old daughter Mia thinks of her grandad, despite her arrival into the world coming years after his untimely passing. She said: "Mia thinks her grandad David lives in the moon. Whenever the moon comes out she says, 'Oh Grandad David's out'. She says he's in the moon with Vera which was an old family dog and the Queen."
Alongside the video, Gemma, 39, wrote to her fans and followers: "Watching last nights show I could really see Tio looking exactly how Mia did when she was younger. I went down a rabbit hole watching all of her old videos and this is still my favourite one of her.
