A gardening expert has shared an effective way to protect your young seedlings and also heal wounds on more defined plants - using one spice.
However, there is one cheap spice that can really solve all your problems as one man shares his top tips for protecting your garden. The expert, who goes by @theshilohfarm on TikTok, shared his super secret to protecting his garden this summer time - cinnamon. "By sprinkling a little cinnamon around your young seedlings, it'll help prevent fungal diseases that attack young plants - especially in damp conditions."
The gardener also said that cinnamon can be a natural plaster for a wounded plant that will help it heal. He added: "If you have a plant that gets cut or wounded, a little sprinkle of cinnamon can help seal up the wound and prevent disease.
