Mattjew Perry has been laid to rest in a low-key funeral opposite the Warner Bros studio where he filmed for 10 years. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow were among the friends and family at the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Friday.
A new foundation has promised to continue Matthew Perry’s commitment to “helping others struggling with the disease of addiction”. In a statement, the organisation said: “The Matthew Perry Foundation is the realization of Matthew’s enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction.
“Addiction is far too powerful for anyone to defeat alone. But together, one day at a time, we can beat it down.”
