From April 2023, you could see a change to your tax, here's how to calculate how much you'll be taking home
From April of this year, people paying tax will see a change in how much they are now taking home with them at the end of each pay day.
It comes as the Scottish Government made changes meaning those on the highest salary will pay more, with the biggest loss set to be those earning over £160,000 who will take home over £2,500 less per year. Set to come into force in April 2023, Scottish income tax rates and thresholds - which are set by the Scottish Parliament - differ from other parts of the UK with rates in England, Northern Ireland and Wales put in place by the UK Parliament.So what's changing and how much more tax, if any, will you be paying?
