Amazing effort, well done to the 'Magnificent Seven'!
Breaking the record for cycling the length of the UK on a conference bike, a group of university friends have raised thousands of pounds for charity.
Cycling in shifts throughout the day and night on the 200kg seven-seater bike, two core teams of riders set off on Sunday, May 22, and finished the challenge on May 28. Magnificent Seven team member Colin Bolton said: “Despite most of the team being experienced riders, it took a lot of mental as well as physical energy to keep going – especially through the nights.
