The RSPB Glasgow has been carefully monitoring the progress of the Peregrine falcon eggs in the university's Gilbert Scott Tower and has now announced that the chicks have hatched

The RSPB Glasgow has been carefully monitoring the progress of the Peregrine falcon eggs in the past months after the bird nested in the Gilbert Scott Tower.

Now, the final chick has greeted the world, with all four appearing to be doing well. The new family are now being studied by the RSPB, The Scottish Ornithologists' Club and University of Glasgow who have formed the Glasgow Peregrine Project. Sharing the exciting news, the RSPB wrote: "After a nail-biting couple of days due to a technical issue with one of our Peregrine nest cams, we can finally confirm that our 4th Peregrine egg has hatched, and all 4 chicks seem to be doing well! Hurrah!"RSPB Scotland, The Scottish Ornithologists' Club and University of Glasgow are working together as the Glasgow Peregrine Project to study how this pair have adapted to city life, and to raise awareness about these wonderful birds of...
