After a student alerted Timber Creek High School administrators about another student possessing a gun on campus Thursday morning, Fort Worth police arrested a 17-year old, authorities said in a press release. School administrators were notified at 11:38 a.m., and a school resource officer found a 17-year old student in possession of a loaded gun, police said in a written statement. The officer confiscated the weapon without incident, and the student was removed from the campus.
The student faces charges of bringing a weapon into a prohibited place, a third degree felony, police said.
