Lowe pulled up and went to his floater to score the 2,000th point of his high school basketball career with 5:46 left in the fourth quarter as the No. 4 Buffalos went on to defeat Fulshear 73-51 in a District 20-5A game Friday at the Buffalos gym.Then the announcer told the audience about the milestone, prompting a standing ovation for the Pittsburgh commit.“It just means that all my hard work is paying off,” Lowe said. “I’m at a loss for words.
“It’s great playing for a coach of that stature,” Lowe said. “He pushes us every day in practice. As much as he’s proud of us, we’re really proud of him.”
