Former Love Island star responds to the show's social media ban for contestants
She added:"Sad when you think about it but absolutely necessary to protect there [sic] innocent darling heads – people will moan and it will be those that caused it. In the famous words of all parents, you only have yourselves to blame you big knuckle heads."that Islanders competing on the reality dating show will now have their social media accounts frozen while they're inside the villa, as part of their new duty of care measures.
The policy marks a change from previous seasons, which saw contestants' friends, family or PR run their accounts. The social media ban isn't the only change in policy enacted by ITV, with all new Islanders being given guidance on mutually respectful behaviour in relationships following complaints made to Ofcom about
