Iron Hill Brewery is serving its brews with everyone's favorite seasonal cookies.
The Delaware-based brewery, which has 20 locations spanning its home state, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and South Carolina, is holding its four annual beer and Girl Scout Cookies pairing Feb. 19 and 20.
Iron Hill’s New Jersey locations, in Voorhees and Maple Shade, will be taking part in the event. In-person tastings include a flight of seven beers and seven cookies for $22. An at-home tasting experience is available for pickup as well, including a mixed four-pack of classic Iron Hill beers, tasting cups, cookies for two and a link to a brewer-guided pairing videos for $25. Girl Scout Cookies will also be for sale to take home from local Girl Scout troops.
Pairings include Russian Imperial Stout with Thin Mints, Lemon Brambleberry with Lemon Ups and Black Cherry Cheesecake Sour with Tagalongs among others. “Girl Scout Cookie weekend is something we look forward to doing every year.” Iron Hill Brewery CEO Chris Westcott said in a press release. “Every year, our staff wants to make this a new experience for our loyal fans. There is so much thought put into curating these tastings that really get the flavor profiles of our beers to match up with the sweet notes of the cookies you know and love.
