NASA said in a Wednesday blog post that communications with the Orion spacecraft had been restored after experiencing an 'unexpected lost' early in the morning.

In a blog post, the agency wrote that NASA's Mission Control Center at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, unexpectedly lost data to and from Orion at 12:09 a.m. CST for 47 minutes. between Orion and Deep Space Network overnight. "The reconfiguration has been conducted successfully several times in the last few days, and the team is investigating the cause of the loss of signal," NASA wrote. On Nov. 20, the fifth day of the 25.5-day Artemis I mission, a camera mounted on the tip of one of Orion’s solar array wings captured this footage of the spacecraft and the Moon as it continued to grow nearer to our lunar neighbor. The spacecraft entered the lunar sphere of influence at 2:09 p.m.
