Every flood warning across Lancashire and Cumbria as public told to 'start acting on plans'
. Residents in some areas have been warned to start acting on their flood plans if they have one.
A flood warning indicates a greater level of severity and its advised you turn off gas, water and electricity, and move your possession upstairs or to safety. The Environment Agency said: "Avoid using low lying footpaths or entering areas prone to flooding. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one."In Cumbria, there are two active flood warnings - one in Keswick and one in Carlisle. There are also eight active flood alerts in place across the county.River levels remain high on the River Greta, River Derwent and Derwent Water lake.
