Klyde Warren Park is getting some deep-fried street cred.
For the first time, Fletcher's Original Corny Dogs will set up a permanent food truck at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas.The 80-year-old North Texas corny dog company Fletcher’s will start selling its fried franks on a stick at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas permanently.
“You go to a park in NYC and you can have a hot dog,” says Kit Sawers, president of Klyde Warren Park. “Fletcher’s Corny Dogs is the equivalent of the New York hot dog.” She calls the North Texas-born brand “iconic.” The get-it-while-you-can attitude was part of Fletcher’s allure for years, but CEO and co-owner Aaron Fletcher says the family-run business had been looking for a permanent location recently.
