A flash flood warning was issued for portions of Tarrant County on Friday evening as storms moved through North Texas. The warning was issued about 6:45 p.m....

Storms will move east over Dallas-Fort Worth through the evening, the weather service said. A slight chance of storms can be expected during the first part of the weekend before the area warms up Sunday.

The weather service said if people encounter flooded roads, they should turn around and find an alternate route. A chance of showers and storms will continue through tonight, and a slight chance of storms can be expected during the first half of the weekend. Otherwise, the warming trend will begin on Sunday.
