By Nancy A. Youssef March 25, 2020 4:29 pm ET Five more sailors aboard a U.S. aircraft carrier at sea have tested positive for the new coronavirus, Navy officials said, more than doubling the number of cases on the ship in the past day.

On Tuesday, the Pentagon said that three of the ship’s sailors had tested positive for the coronavirus. Adm. Michael Gilday, chief of naval operations, said Tuesday that the aircraft carrier would continue its operations.
