Winter is giving a reminder that it is on the way. The first snow of the season is expected at the passes Tuesday evening and into the morning.
In this photo is a view of the mountains in the Snoqualmie Pass area. The first significant snow is expected to hit the region over the next few days. “It’s better than rain right,” Matt said, who was traveling through Snoqualmie Pass on Tuesday.
The return of the snow also means an economic boost for the ski resorts and nearby businesses at the passes. Red Mountain Coffee employees at Snoqualmie Pass said they would be busy.Lindsey Vertefeuille said, “We go to longer hours, and we definitely have a lot more traffic. Brings a lot of business.”
