Rest centres have been set up to support those affected after extremely heavy rainfall across the county
Fire crews say they have been working throughout the night as rest centres are set up for those who have had their homes flooded. Stapleford Fire Station says it is in the "emergency phase" of the incident after widespread flooding caused by Storm Babet starting on Friday, October 20.
The fire station says their crews have also been affected by the heavy rainfall, which has left large standing amounts of water across Nottinghamshire - including in the towns of Stapleford and Long Eaton, which have been badly affected.
"We will be doing everything we can to support our communities recovery over the coming days and weeks."
