Firefighters have been called to attend a group of tower blocks over 70 times in the past two years - for what has turned out to be false alarms.
The local who enquired about the call outs, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Lanarkshire Live: "I've noticed for a while the fire brigade were called out regularly, and because of the buildings involved it is always a huge response. Local fire chiefs say that they will continue to provide advice regarding how to maintain and use the fire alarms, in an attempt to cut down on the number of false alarms.
