Three LA County Fire engines and a battalion chief were dispatched to assist El Segundo Fire crews around 6:00 p.m., LA County Fire said.
A fire broke out Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Chevron oil refinery in El Segundo, officials said.
ABC7 reports a fire has broken out at the Chevron refinery in the 300 block of West El Segundo Boulevard in El Segundo. “At approximately 6:15 pm, El Segundo Fire Department responded to an isolated fire inside the Chevron El Segundo Refinery. El Segundo and Manhattan Beach Fire Departments remain on scene at this time alongside the Chevron Fire Department. There is NO offsite impact or public threat at this time,” a statement from the city of El Segundo said.
