Natay Holmes is a native of San Diego, California, where at an early age she discovered a love for journalism and being in front of the camera. At age 5, Natay would use her dad’s video camera during family gatherings, and report the latest “news” at the Holmes residence.
SAN DIEGO - Wednesday marked the opening day for the 2023 edition of the San Diego International Film Festival. Dozens of filmmakers will be able to showcase their work to the community. There will be panels, events and much more.
“The 16 young people that were involved in this film are all on the autism spectrum,” says co-producer Susan Clausen. “One of the common themes is they all think differently which is fascinating… So you're getting 16 different perspectives.” Two of the participants, Rob Repass and Karlee Lowe, are from San Diego. They’ll get a chance to watch the film on Thursday.
