In an interview with Screen Rant's Rachel Foertsch, Zaki opened up about what he'd like to see for OA and Maggie in FBI season 7 and beyond, given that the series has nabbed a three-season renewal at CBS. Zaki mentioned that he looked forward to more scenes of OA and Maggie confiding in one another and sharing about their personal history. The actor also noted that the police drama would continue its focus on their personal relationships, in addition to bringing in new cases.

In the same episode where OA opens up to Gemma, Maggie is on leave, and FBI Special Agent Tiffany Wallace fills in to take her place. Zaki has confirmed that Maggie will be back for the FBI season 6 finale, which airs May 21, and beyond.
