313 homes were being developed at one site
The fate of hundreds of hundreds of Nottinghamshire homes is in doubt after a developer went into administration. Administrators have been appointed at property developer Sherwood Oak Homes, which was constructing 313 homes off Clipstone Road East in the village of Clipstone, near Mansfield
Construction work started on the first phase of the £100 million housing development named The Oaks in late 2021, as reported by Business Live. Pictures taken in April this year showed a number of homes at the site were well under way, with some seemingly nearing completion. Pygott and Crone Estate Agents had been marketing the new properties, but the link to a page about The Oaks' development no longer works.It is not clear how many homes have been completed, or what will happen to the properties.
Although Sherwood Oak Homes' principal trading address is at its Clipstone site, the firm's registered address is in Essex. Arron Kendall and Milan Vuceljic of administrator Moorfields were appointed on October 3, as listed in the London Gazette.
