Peter Degnan has been taking pictures of the city since the 1970s.

For more than 40 years, self-taught photographer Peter Degnan has been training his lens on the people and places of Glasgow.

The book includes photos of the Barras and Paddy's markets, flare-wearing football supporters, loyalist marches, shipyards and dilapidated back courts. When I retired in 2017 that's when I concentrated on getting my website together and producing my books."
