Farmingdale High School student Audrina Corcitto thanks doctors, first responders who came to rescue in wake of deadly bus crash

The 17-year-old sat between her mother and the pediatric neurosurgeon who saved her life as she talked about her experience Wednesday from Cohen Children's Medical Center.

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. -- A Long Island student is speaking out about the deadly Farmingdale High School bus crash last month in Orange County. Audrina Corcitto spoke about her experience Wednesday from Cohen Children's Medical Center. The 17-year-old sat between her mother and the pediatric neurosurgeon who saved her life.

'I was able to move, but my friend had to help me get back up, and as I got back up, I collapsed, because there was so much pain. It felt like a bunch of pressure in the middle of my back, or my lower back,' she recalled.
