The release date for the upcoming MCU superhero movie Fantastic Four has been delayed by Marvel by a few months.
Fantastic Four will release on May 2, 2025. It is being delayed three months from its former release date of February 14, 2025.
The film is set to be part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will also include Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. The film will be directed by Matt Shakman, who previously directed the MCU series WandaVision. It was previously going to be directed by Jon Watts, director of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy, but Watts stepped down from the role.Jonathan Sim is a film critic and filmmaker born and raised in New York City.
