''This is the flaw in using the Rico statute to prosecute alleged gang activity,' Lawson said. 'Sometimes the only thing a co-defendant has in common is the fact that they are both charged in the same indictment. In the YSL case, co-defendants are sitting through evidence that has absolutely nothing to do with any of their alleged criminal activity.
