Police Scotland said the 29-year-old male driver of the HGV was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence and released pending further enquiries.
Two teenagers who died following a crash between a car and a lorry in Stirling have been named. Kyle Marshall, 19, and Jayden McConnell, 17, were pronounced dead at the scene following the collision between a black Vauxhall Corsa and an HGV on the A91 on Sunday afternoon. Mr Marshall's family said they were 'devastated' by his death.
The 17-year-old male driver of the car remains in a critical condition at Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The front seat passenger, a 17-year-old female, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to minor injuries and was later released. The 29-year-old male driver of the HGV was not injured. Police Scotland said he was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence and released pending further enquiries.
