A fundraiser for Poppie Roller, who lose her parents and siblings, has reached over £400,000.
Six people died after a motorbike smashed head-on into a car while overtaking, an inquest has heard. Shane Roller, Shannen Morgan, and their kids, Lillie Morgan Roller and her sister Rubie, all passed away as a result of the smash.
The court heard that the BMW motorbike being ridden by Christopher Barton on July 21 was overtaking another vehicle on the single carriageway, between Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and Wakefield, West Yorkshire, when it hit the family’s car 'head on'. The dad-of-four said: "Her mum actually contacted us and asked if we could watch Poppie because she didn't want to go on the walk that they went on. "No one knew what happened at that point and then the news came slowly, we saw a post on Facebook that there was an incident and it was terrible."
