A family of three who are forced to share a bedroom in Glasgow have spoken of their desperation to escape their overcrowded flat - with a new baby expected in just two weeks.

The kitchen is also tiny in their home at 15 Kirkton Avenue - measuring about two metres wide and 2.5 metres in length. Rafid has been applying for a new place and his housing association Wheatley Homes offered him a bigger home in Castlemilk. But the family turned it down as they want to stay in the current area for Alfahid's nursery and to be close to family so Sarah has help with the new baby.
