Families warned of possible tuberculosis exposure in Chula Vista school [Breaking]
Students and staff at Fred Rohr Elementary School in Chula Vista may have been exposed to tuberculosis during summer and fall sessions, San Diego County health officials said Wednesday.
Citing privacy concerns, health officials declined to comment on if the infected person was a student or staff member. Symptoms of active TB include persistent cough, fever, night sweats and unexplained weight loss, Dr. Wilma Wooten, county public health officer, said in the statement Wednesday.
