Cash grants of up to £500 are being given out to struggling families who have just 10 days left to apply. The money is being made available via the Household Support Fund to help during the cost of living crisis – and the money doesn’t have to be paid back.
One council is offering a range of support, including £500 grants, £75 supermarket vouchers and £15 per week for children during the school holidays. But residents have just days left to apply for the funding, with the scheme closing its applications on 26 April.While it mentions grants for appliances, it also states the following is available:
