Dancer Jean Veloz, who was best known for her Lindy Hop routines, has died at the age of 98.that she died at home in Los Angeles on Sunday [January 15].‘It was silky smooth and greatly contrasted the more jitterbug style prevalent during the 1930s-’40s.’
Veloz was born on March 1, 1924, and had a passion for dance stemming from her youth and had prevailed in a jitterbug competition in Santa Maria, California with her brother Raymond against 500 other dancers.She appeared on Little Big Shots: Forever Young alongside US talk show host Steve Harvey
