The Scottish Government is funding the new rates which now apply across all local authorities
Kinship and foster carers in Falkirk will get more money to help meet the cost of looking after children, as a new national agreement is implemented.
The Scottish Government promised £16 million of funding to cover the cost nationally and Falkirk Council says their share of this is expected to cover the costs. Most carers will see a rise as a result of the new amounts and none of them will be lose money if the nationally agreed amount is lower.
