The counter will open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., then reopen at 11:30 a.m. and stay available until 5:00 p.m.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Fairbanks North Star Borough residents looking to visit the Treasury counter at the Juanita Helms Administration Center will need to adjust to new hours of operation.
Having started on Monday, May 22, and going through fall of 2023, the public counter at the building will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by a break.According to a press release, this gap in open hours during the morning has been implemented in order to set up and test a new system for property taxes in the borough.
