Facebook Gaming’s Android and iOS apps shut down in October.
, saying it caused “confusion” among users, and incorporated the gaming hub into the main YouTube app instead. Facebook didn’t provide a reason why it’s shutting down its app, and the company didn’t immediately respond to“We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you for everything that you’ve done to build a thriving community for gamers and fans since the app first launched,” Facebook’s notice to users reads.
