Facebook likes to portray itself as a social media giant under siege, far from the all-powerful goliath that antitrust enforcers portray. But internal documents show that the company knows it dominates the arenas it considers central to its fortunes.

Because teens are more likely to use multiple services, Facebook needs to compete with the likes of YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok for their time and attention, the person said.
