It is alleged that the chanting occurred during Man City's 4-0 win over Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Football Association is set to investigate alleged incidents of homophobic chanting by Manchester City supporters during the FA Cup third round victory over Chelsea on Sunday.
It comes just two days after the FA revealed that it was investigating homophobic chanting which was heard during Manchester United's 3-1 FA Cup victory over Everton on Friday. It is understood that the chant was aimed towards Toffees boss Frank Lampard and referred to his time as a player and manager of Chelsea.According to the PA news agency, the FA will be liaising with City and relevant authorities over the matter.
