Sao Paulo Grand Prix organisers face scrutiny after being summoned to the stewards over a spectator track invasion.
Shortly after Sunday’s grand prix at Interlagos finished, the stewards summoned representatives of the event organisers to explain a fan track invasion prior to the end of the race. No further information was provided, but a similar incident occurred at the Australian Grand Prix earlier this year. On that occasion, the Melbourne promoter was found in serious breach of FIA security protocols and safety measures.
