They were rescued from the “Cave of Caerbannog” by the Tayside Mountain Rescue Team.
A Scots explorer had to be rescued after becoming stuck for two hours in a legendary cave made famous after being used as a Monty Python filming location.
Images from the scene shows one of the rescuers entering the dark space, surrounded by boulders, with a light being shone up ahead. Another shows the incredibly tight squeeze entrance to the cave. The isolated cave is a difficult place to find but is a popular spot among Monty Python fans, and has since received its own page on the travel website TripAdvisor.
They soon scoff as they learn that the monster in question is the tiny Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog. A memorable scene sees the fluffy animal kill many men before being finally being defeated by the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
