Strong demand for skilled workers, trades and a growing market have brought student interest to an all-time high.
The main vocational-technical school serving high school students in Cumberland and Perry counties has received the green light for its first major expansion in 20 years.
The project calls for construction of a new building at the Cumberland Perry Area Career and Technical Center campus off Route 114 in Silver Spring Township. The added space will ultimately permit the school to expand its enrollment by about 275 students.
