'I think it's lovely to see and it's a nice attraction to bring people into the city'
Nottingham Winter Wonderland is almost ready to open for 2023, with new market stalls, an ice rink, observation wheel and ice bar. The event is extremely popular each year, with people travelling from all over the county and neighbouring areas to visit the annual attraction.
Meanwhile the ice rink remains at the heart of the attraction, with skaters being able to skate in the rink and the ice path above the market place. Due to popular demand, the toboggan slide will also be returning this year.Retired Peter Reabirr, 72, of Nottingham, said: "I'm looking forward to it opening. I go round it with my son and my sister, we go every year.
Nottingham resident, Julie Clark, 58, is also looking forward to the market. She said: "We are going to go but later on in the year, we're not going when it opens tomorrow.
