BREAKING: The Justice Department's request to dismiss charges against President Trump's former national security advisor Michael Flynn is a 'gross abuse' of power, an ex-judge appointed to review the case says.

WASHINGTON — A former federal judge appointed to review the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss criminal charges against former national security adviser Michael Flynn has found that the government’s request should be denied because there is “clear evidence of a gross abuse of prosecutorial power.”
In January, Flynn filed court papers to withdraw his guilty plea, saying federal prosecutors had acted in “bad faith” and broken their end of the bargain when they sought prison time for him.
