The wife of former England rugby union star Tom Youngs, Tiffany, has passed away following an eight year long battle with Hodgkin Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer.
Ten months after the heartbreaking diagnosis, having researched alternative therapies, which included taking cannabis oil and changing her diet with the help of a nutritionist, she was declared cancer free and thankfully in remission. Tom's former club, Leicester Tigers, confirmed the tragic news of Tiffany's death on Wednesday as they shared a statement on their website.
"The thoughts of all at Saints are with the Youngs and Sands families, as well as their many friends at Leicester Tigers." Tiffany leaves behind her husband Tom, and young daughter Maisie, who was born just months before her initial diagnosis.
